This right here is my first ever script. Lots of spelling and grammar mistakes but I don’t care. Its where I started off and I’m proud of it.  Back in 2012 when I thought, nah, my story wont be picked to go into production in college. But it did and I’m happy it did. Have a read.

A Letter To No One : Draft 5

1 INT . CHARLIE AND POPPIES HIDEOUT . SUNSET .PRESENT

A song is playing. A hand reaches for the source, an ipod station and turns it off. The city looks deserted and no sound but the passing wind. A young man closes a door. He drags a coffee table across to the door and pushes it up against it with much effort. The young man stands with his hands still on either side of the table staring into space. He pushes the table out of the doors way.

CUT TO:

He stands gazing out the window with the sky beginning to dim. He peers over his shoulder where a young girl lays out of focus on a sleeping bag. The young man slides down against a wall and sits quietly there with a stony expression. A piece of paper lays in his hand. Writing can be seen on it.

Charlie Hogan

(Voice over)

Letter

It’s the small things I miss , a hot meal , a warm bed, my xbox… I have moved around a lot the last few months , no choice , needed to keep hidden, invisible like I was never there. I was always on the lookout though, for someone like me, someone surviving.
